Bonnie Lynn retired eleven years ago from teaching English in southern California public schools, ranging from junior high school to college, with the bulk of the time at Mission Viejo High School. She loved teaching narrative writing to her students so carrying over this passion to travel narratives became a natural fit. She has picked up Spanish since her retirement, frequently going to Guatemala for Spanish immersion and volunteer work, especially with hospice children. They have captured her heart and give her much more than she gives them. Lynn has five adult children and ten grandchildren. Besides travelling, she enjoys reading, writing, swimming, dabbling in Spanish, trying to keep up with some skiing, laughing with the grandkids, and Church activities.
